Netherlands, the public debate on climate change has begun no sooner than 2007, but it is only in 2010 that the so-called Delta Programme has been approved. As opposed to its predecessors, the Programme foresees a list of specific objectives, including develop flood prevention measures, guarantee drinking water supply and promote the resiliency of cities.|<br \/>\n<br \/>\nThree years later, the government launched the very first climate agenda with detailed guidelines, a very important stepping stone of the national adaptation roadmap, ultimately leading to the 2016 NAS \u2013 National Climate Adaptation Strategy, the key tool addressing society in its entirety and stating that every single person is able to \u201cprotect the
